The best time to travel to Panama is from December to April. However, the best time to travel for the part on the Pacific Ocean is different from that on the Caribbean coast. The chance of rain on the Caribbean coast is greater in the months of June, July, November and December. In the dry season it can get quite hot.

To see everything in Panama you will need at least 3 weeks and, if possible, perhaps a little longer. This way you can visit all the beautiful places, including the tropical islands. If you really have enough time, you can also take the sailing trip along the San Blas Islands.

No, it is not unsafe everywhere in Panama. Yes, you might want to be a little more careful in some places. Robberies and robberies do occur in Panama. You will regularly see guards and police with large weapons. This mainly applies to the suburbs of Panama City and Casco Viejo. Here you may want to pay a little more attention and be more careful. In all other areas this is a lot less.
