The Lemukih waterfalls in Bali are located in the village of Lemukih. Part of these waterfalls is the Lemukih water slide. However, this waterfall is not just any waterfall, but a real natural water slide. The water has created a channel in the rocks that you can slide through. We thought this was by far one of the best activities Bali. Not only because of the activity itself, but because of the whole picture of this waterfall
The Lemukih water slide
The waterfall is owned by a local family. You will also see the owners and the entire family playing around and in the waterfall. The owners are happy to slide tirelessly with you or demonstrate the best way to slide. All so that you have as much fun as possible at the waterfall. If you go early in the morning it is wonderfully quiet here and you will only find the family themselves and some other local children playing here.
At the entrance there is a small restaurant where you can enjoy the view and order something to drink. The entrance costs only IDR 20,000 per person. This also includes the use of scooter tires and possibly the loan of water shoes, if you do not have them with you.

The natural water slide
The water slide consists of 3 parts that you can slide down on an old scooter tire. After each part of the slide you end up in a small pool. The last part of the 3 is the longest and fastest. It's actually more of a whitewater ride rather than a slide. It also looks scarier and wilder at first but it actually is a lot of fun when you slide down it. The water is quite cold, but you get used to it the longer you are in it. Moreover, it is often quite warm in Bali, so it is also a nice refreshment. At the very end of the water slide is a somewhat larger pool. Here you can also jump from a rock into the water if you want.

How do you get to this natural water slide?
The Lemukih water slide is about a 30-minute drive from the beautiful Sekumpul waterfall. These two waterfalls can therefore be easily combined with each other. When you drive into the village of Lemukih you will at some point come across the banner of the water slide. Here you drive into the street. In the beginning this is still quite doable. The path is steep, but wide enough to be easy to drive on. At a certain point the path becomes narrower and more scary to drive on. The view around you is really beautiful. You drive through the green rice fields. If you are not very experienced and comfortable on the scooter, you may want to park it and continue walking. If you drive all the way to the end of the path, you will arrive at a small field where you can park your scooter.
Just before you reach the path to drive to the waterslide, you pass through the local village. There may be a number of young guys here who shout that you need a guide to get to the waterslide. You can just tell them that you will drive to the water slide yourself. The route is clear and Google Maps makes it easy to get there. So you don't have to let them take you.
From Ubud it is about a 2-hour drive to the Lemukih water slide. It is better to visit this and the Sekumpul waterfall from the green Munduk, the village of Lemukih itself or Bedugul which is located at the lake of the Pura Ulun Danu temple.
