What to do in Uluwatu?

1. The most beautiful beaches in Bali
In Uluwatu you will find the most beautiful beaches in Bali. There are not only nice beaches where you can surf well, but also where you can enjoy a day of sunbathing and swimming. There are also a number of standouts. A white beach with clear blue water at the bottom of a cliff that you share with only 5 other people? That's what you want! For a good change, visit Melasti beach, Nyang-Nyang beach, Padang Padang beach and, for example, Suluban beach.

2. Karang Boma cliff
In Uluwatu you will not only find the most beautiful beaches but also beautiful cliffs. One of the most beautiful is the Karang Boma cliff, also known as the Uluwatu cliff. A 70 meter high cliff, right above the sea, with a beautiful view. You can easily get here by scooter and only have to walk a short distance. Update: Since 2023 there is a fence, so you can no longer access the protruding part.
3. Uluwatu Temple
This beautiful temple on a 70 meter high cliff is definitely worth a visit. It may be less known to tourists than other temples in Bali, but that is certainly not the case among the monkeys. There can be quite a few monkeys here. It can get a bit busier here around sunset, because you can admire the traditional Kecak dance here. A good time to visit the temple!

4. Happy sunset Batujaran
Looking for the perfect spot for a beautiful sunset? Then visit the happy sunset spot. This small but cozy cliff can be visited for free. You will not be the only one, because every day around sunset, tourists gather here to watch the sunset. Bring a dress, beer and chips to really make it a moment. Forgot to bring something? No problem, there is a local's stall where you can also buy a beer and chips! There are a number of paid cliffs where you can watch the sunset, but in our opinion they are no better than this one.
5. Single Fin
Do you feel like having a party? Then visit Single Fin on Sunday evening. Every Sunday evening there is a live band or DJ to ensure a party. Whether you want to dance or sit with a cocktail, that's completely up to you!
